1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniPilot AI website at unipilotai.com and related products and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by UniPilot AI ("UniPilot," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us under applicable law and are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.

3. What the Service Does

UniPilot AI is an AI-powered platform that helps international students plan and execute their study-abroad journey. The Service may include:

University discovery and comparison tools
Personalized application checklists and deadline tracking
AI-powered interview and admissions practice
Visa, housing, and language preparation resources
Community features (where available)

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that significantly affect existing functionality.

4. Informational Use Only — Not Professional Advice

The Service provides general information and AI-generated guidance. It is not legal, immigration, financial, or educational advice. University requirements, visa policies, and admission criteria change frequently. We make no guarantee about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Service.

We do not guarantee admission, visa approval, scholarship awards, or any specific outcome. Always verify critical information (visa rules, application deadlines, document requirements, fees) with the official source — the university, the relevant embassy or consulate, or a licensed immigration consultant — before acting on it.

5. Your Account

To use most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Keep your password secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account that you could have prevented.
Use the Service only for yourself. Do not share your account or create multiple accounts.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in applications or communications generated through the Service.
Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service using automated means without our written permission.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, sending excessive requests, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
Use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm any other person, or to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes others' rights.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or any of its content without our written consent.
Use the Service to train, build, or improve any AI or machine learning model that competes with UniPilot AI.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by UniPilot AI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. "UniPilot," "UniPilot AI," and our logos are trademarks of UniPilot AI. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of any information, documents, or materials you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant UniPilot AI a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third party's rights and complies with applicable law.

9. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized recommendations, checklists, and practice materials. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it. Do not submit AI-generated content to universities, embassies, or any official body without your own review and substantial revision.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, Google Sign-In, university websites, visa portals, or affiliate partners). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

11. Fees and Subscriptions

The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions, we will notify you in advance and provide specific terms covering billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. Continued use of paid features after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIPILOT AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL UNIPILOT AI, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITIES (INCLUDING ADMISSION OR VISA DECISIONS), OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. To the extent those limitations apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UniPilot AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) Your Content.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 16, and 18) will continue to apply.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Lahore, Pakistan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the Service before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and UniPilot AI regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
Notices: We may give you notices by email to the address associated with your account or by posting in the Service. You may send legal notices to legal@unipilotai.com.
